HIRA is tirelessly working to pay thoughtful attention to child protection from any kind of abuse. It is our mission not only to campaign for the rights of children but also to take practical action up to the extent of our finance possibility.

Despite child protection being one of the main working areas, HIRA pays serious attention to maintain the child rights in all projects included but not limited to health, agricultural, infrastructure, capacity-building, education, food-security and emergency response.

HIRA has been seeking ways to provide basic health services, education, security and safety facilities to the poor and vulnerable children in Afghanistan through establishing/developing partnerships with donor community, partner organizations, relevant governmental departments and the communities as well.

HIRA is also as an active advocate of child rights in Afghanistan and is highly committed to make the children equal citizens of the country in the sense of fulfilling their basic rights of foods, education, health and security.
